Sustainability of the solution
The maximum benefit of Jinko Cheetah Series is achieved by combining it with HC technology. In this way, not only the performance of the PV module is increased, but also its reliability thanks to the lower cell current and the corresponding lower heat losses.
The combination of Cheetah and HC technologies has also improved the temperature coefficients to -0.37% / ° C, which means that the high performance of PV modules has increased by nearly 2% -3% even in extreme environmental conditions compared to standard full cell solutions.

The Jinko Cheetah series modules are manufactured using larger wafers and Mono PERC cells, increasing the peak power of the module by 8Wp compared to the previous generation PV modules.
Cheetah cells increased in length and width by 2 mm. Respectively, the length and breadth of the module rise by 23 mm and 10 mm with an average 8 Wp power-up. The HC length and width increase by 52 mm and 10 mm with an average of 15 Wp power-up.

Cheetah solution generates significant BOS savings for utility-scale PV projects as the number of modules for given peak power is reduced by 6%, resulting in labour costs and amounts can also be reduced proportionally in the assembly structure.
Moreover, by comparing an installation with Jinko Mono PERC and Jinko’s new Jinko Cheetah Half-Cell PV modules, the required surface area for the PV array is reduced by about 3%, making full use of the economic advantage of a roof system and maximisation of the capacity of the roof space. The costs for land use and land preparation are therefore also reduced.
